Shopping for Your Wedding Gown

You've probably got a ton of questions surrounding shopping for your wedding gown. That's why we've collaborated with Natasha Marie Bridal of Denham Springs to bring you answers to some of your questions!

What does your experience look like to brides shopping at your shop?

The second you request an appointment with us, we are invested in YOU. We do a preappointment phone consultation to get to know you & your wedding plans. Our brides love our cozy store (but large selection of dresses) and our fitting rooms double as your viewing area with the best lighting! You have your own bridal stylist to help you get into & out of each dress, and help guide you based on your feedback to finding “the one.” We narrow down to your top 2-3 favorites and try those on again at the end with accessories to help finalize your decision.

Once you say “yes to the dress” you receive a complimentary oyster ring dish. The oyster is harvested by Natasha’s father & cleaned & painted by Natasha’s mother. It’s a token of appreciation to help you remember the moment you first got all the butterflies in your dream dress! Then before leaving you get to take a photo with our “I said yes to the dress at Natasha Marie Bridal” sign. We post the photo to our Facebook page & you have a chance to win our Vendor of the Month’s prize ($200+ value!). We also have options to upgrade your appointment for the ultimate experience including a VIB option during store hours & our Royal Treatment appointment after hours and you have the entire store to yourself plus other sweet surprises! Check out our website for more details.

What is the process for trying on gowns during my appointment? Do I look through all of the gowns or do the associates pull them?

We like to let our brides pick 3-4 dresses to start with and then as you give your stylist feedback while trying on about which design details you like and don’t like, she will pull more for you to try on from there. How many gowns does the average bride try on before choosing the winner?

Fun fact: Most of our brides find their dream dress at their initial visit, and often times it’s their first time trying on dresses. Average number of dresses tried on during their 90 minute appointment is about 10-12. How much should I budget on my wardrobe - including accessories?

Our dresses range from $1,000-$3,000; most are $1,300-$1,800. Our jewelry & veils range from about $30 to $600. What are the top 5 upcoming bridal trends?
